Below are the DAS 2025 algorithm’s  for managing difficult airways and failure to intubate and oxygenate.

The major changes from the 2015 guidelines are continuous use of oxygen and capnography and  early preparation in the algorithm of an eFONA kit. In addition, ensuring patient is properly paralysed is emphasised.

Also below are the DAS guidelines for awake tracheal intubation.
